Hannes Raffaseder is the Chief Executive Officer of the University of Applied Sciences and he will give an introduction and guide us through the event.
Interview Andrew Petter: Driver for Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship – How universities can contribute to regional impact

Andrew Petter is a former academic and provincial politician in British Columbia, Canada. After politics, he dedicated his work to education, serving two terms as president and vice-chancellor of Simon Fraser University from 2010 to 2020, being the director of Coast Capital Savings Credit Union since April 2024 and more. With his diverse experiences, he will talk about the drivers for social innovation and entrepreneurship.

The E³UDRES² Award of Female Entrepreneurship has the clear mission to empower women as founders, innovators, and leaders in the European startup ecosystem. It encourages young women to step into leadership, helps build stronger support networks, and inspires the startup community to embrace diversity as a key driver of success. During International Week in St. Pölten on November 24, the applicant’s videos will be shown. A jury will decide on the winning teams on site. During the ceremony, the judging panel provides detailed feedback on the submissions, acknowledging strengths and innovation while also offering insights into the potential for growth and impact.
